Juana Teresa Espinal Lajara, 63, of Provo, left this Earth to be with God Thursday, November 4th, 2021. She was born April 12, 1958 in Bonao, Dominican Republic to Casimiro Espinal Placencia and Lucila Lopez. She married Miguel Lajara on April 11, 1987.
Teresa, as we lovingly called her, earned her degree in Business Administration at O & M University in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Teresa was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister and daughter. Her Christian faith was one of the most important things in her life, and she always upheld it with pride.
Teresa is survived by her daughter Scarlet Lajara Johnson (Nathan), and Rocio Feliz-Caballero, Patricia Noboa whom she loved like daughters. Her brothers and sisters, Martin, Zoilo, Roque, Jose Alberto, Nicolassima, Rosario, Deyanira, Ana, Carmen, Adelaida (deceased). As well as many other family members. She is preceded in death by her parents Casimiro Espinal Placencia, Lucila Lopez and her husband Miguel Lajara.
Funeral services for Teresa will be November 9th, 2021 at Sundberg-Olpin Mortuary at 495 South State Street in Orem, with a viewing from 9:00am-11:00am followed by the service at 11:30am. Burial will be held at the Provo City Cemetery.

Juana Teresa Espinal de Lajara partió a la presencia del Señor, el Jueves 4 de noviembre del 2021, en la ciudad de Provo, Utah.
Teresa, de nacionalidad Dominicana, hizo de los Estados Unidos su hogar hace 39 años junto a su esposo e hija.
Teresa, como la llamábamos cariñosamente, obtuvo su título en Administración de Empresas en la Universidad O & M en Santo Domingo, República Dominicana. Teresa fue una esposa, madre, abuela, tía, hermana e hija increíble. Su fe cristiana era una de las cosas más importantes de su vida y siempre la defendió con orgullo.
Sus padres fueron el Sr. Casimiro Espinal Placencia (Fallecido) y la Sra. Lucila Lopez (Fallecida).
Le sobreviven su hija Scarlet Lajara Johnson - Nathan Johnson, Rocio Feliz-Caballero, y Patricia Noboa quien amaba como hijas, Hermanas y Hermanos, Martin, Zoilo, Roque, Jose Alberto, Nicolassima, Rosario, Deyanira, Ana, Carmen. Adelaida (fallecida). Cuñados(as), Sobrinos(as), Primos (as) y familiares. Sus sobrinas-nietas, que llenaron su días de alegría, Camila y Antonella Caballero, Elias, Olivia, y Mateo Santos y Diane Lajara.
Sus restos serán velados en la Sundberg-Olpin Mortuary, 495 South State Street en la ciudad de Orem, Utah. El velorio es de 9:00am-11:00am, y el servicio a las 11:30am. El entierro en el cementerio de Provo.
