Our beloved Jose passed away unexpectedly on Friday, August 14, 2015, in Murray, Utah. He was born October 27, 1989 in Ecuador, son of Grace Cedeno and John Duenas. Jose and his mother immigrated from Ecuador to the United States in1997. Jose graduated from Provo High School and later served a full time mission to the Colorado Springs Mission, where he touched many hearts and changed many lives. Prior to his passing Jose was excelling in all aspects of his life. He was pursuing a bachelor's degree in Accounting from University of Utah and was beginning a new job at LDS church headquarters. Jose was serving as Elders Quorum President of his ward where he was loved by his entire ward. Jose was extremely loved and admired by his family in Ecuador. He will always be remembered by family and friends as a happy, sweet, selfless, person who always thought of others, especially his mother. Jose loved soccer, exercising, teaching, and serving. He also loved to spend time with family, friends, especially his girlfriend Markell Anderson. He is survived by his mother Grace, Provo; uncles and aunts, Raul, Provo; Oscar, Springville; Ricardo, Ecuador; Andrea, Provo; Julieta, Springville. Jose is also survived by cousins, girlfriend, and best friend, Oscar and Juan, Springville; Markell, Sandy; Alfonso, Orem. We would like to thank all the family and friends who were at the hospital with Jose and those who donated funds toward Jose's funeral and hospital expenses. A viewing will be held Wed., August 19, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 pm at the Sundberg-Olpin Funeral Home, 495 S. State St. in Orem, and prior to services on Thurs., August 20, 2015 at 9:00 am, YSA Stake Center. A celebration of Jose's life will be Thurs., August 20, 2015 at 10:00 am, YSA Stake Center, 1075 S. Geneva Rd, west chapel, Orem. Burial will be at the Provo Cemetery. We invite all to attend
