John Henry Anderson, 95, of Lehi, Utah passed away May 9, 2020. He was born April 23, 1925 in Twin Falls, Idaho, to Arthur Henry Anderson and Elizabeth Leona Hansen Anderson. He married Rose Elvira Tanner on December 28, 1954, in the Salt Lake City, Utah Temple.
John Served in the U.S. Navy and Air Force during WWII. He later served with the VFW helping with Veteran’s Funerals.
John spent his life working on the family farm with his brother Boyd W. Anderson, but his greatest work was in the raising of his six children; Carol, Lorn, John, Christine, Marie and Daniel. John instilled a work ethic in his children, by teaching them to work on the farm.
John served four missions the first as a young man in the East Central States Mission. Later in life he served with his wife Rose in the Lagos, Nigeria; Moscow, Russia and the Orlando, Florida missions. Throughout his life he served in many church callings.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Rose; his children Carol Baldwin (Darrell), Rigby, ID; Lorn Anderson, Kuna, ID; John Anderson (Lisa), Pleasant Grove, UT; Christine Morin (Burke), Green River, WY; Marie Johns (Kyle), Draper, UT and Daniel Anderson (Mary), BuFord, GA; His brother, Boyd W. Anderson, 19 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
