John Fitts Jr.

John Edward Fitts Jr., passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2019, at the Utah Valley Hospital in Provo, Utah. He attended Independence High School in Provo and recently received a culinary arts degree.

JR was born in Roswell, New Mexico on 23 January 1980 to John Edward Fitts and Rose Mary Freek.  He was Rose Mary's first child, and first grandchild to his materal grandma which gave him special rights to being spoiled.  His mother preceded him in death earlier this year.  He is survived by his daughters Rainee and Celine (CeCe), his father, John Fitts of Roswell, NM, and sister, Ambere Fitts (Pleasant Grove) and nephews Christian Skipper and Caelan Marquez (Pleasant Grove).  He is also survived by his half-siblings, Candace and Amanda of Roswell, NM.

JR was a great dad who loved his girls very much and loved spending time with them!  He loved his parents, his aunts and grandma that helped raise him.  He had a big heart and was a loyal dependable friend.  He delighted in making everyone laugh by always telling jokes and doing silly things.  He loved lifting weights and being fit; he was a great personal trainer if anyone ever wanted help and encouragement.  He had a great passion for cooking.  He loved music, especially rock.
