Jerry L Provost

Jerry L. Provost took his last earthly breath at Noon on Saturday, August 17, 2024, surrounded by family. Jerry was the second child born to Floyd Everest and Mary Edler Provost. He was born on August 13, 1942, in Heber City, Utah. He had just celebrated his 84th birthday. He was married to the love of his life, Lou Ann Provost and they raised 5 wonderful children on 5 acres in Benjamin, Utah. They later relocated to the Santaquin area. 

Jerry and Lou Ann enjoyed many wonderful adventures. They loved to snowmobile, camp, take long mountain drives, and play on their boat. In later years they spent time in St. George exploring the surrounding area on ATVs. While they wintered in St. George they made many long-lasting friendships. 

On leap day February 29, 2020, Jerry and Lou Ann were sealed for time and all eternity in the Payson Temple surrounded by family and friends. 

Jerry is survived by his wife Lou Ann Provost of Santaquin. Four children Jenice (Kevin) Allred of Vernal, Utah; Dan Ray (Jeanine) Provost of Salem, Utah; Wade F. (Charline) Provost, Santaquin, Utah; Amy Lou Provost of Pleasant Grove, Utah; 14 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his son Kurt Lewis Provost and one great-granddaughter Rose Noelia Allred. 

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 22, 2024, at 1:30 pm in the Sunberg-Olpin Mortuary located at 495 South State Street in Orem, Utah. A viewing for family and friends will be held one hour before services from 12:30 pm-1:30 p.m. Burial will be in the Spanish Fork Cemetery, 420 South 400 East, Spanish Fork, Utah.
