Jenna Ivins

December 17, 1999 — November 11, 2014

Jenna Shae Ivins passed away peacefully the morning of November 11, 2014 in Provo, Utah of causes unknown. She was born on December 17, 1999 to a wonderful birth mom, Erin McGuire and was adopted by John W. R. Ivins, and Shaunae Ivins, where we had the privilege of spending 15 incredible years with our beloved Jenna. She had a deep love for school, and was a student at Westridge Elementary where she received her Quest for Excellence award, an honor student at Dixon Middle School and at Provo High School as a freshman, where she was a member of the Soccer team and loved it. Jenna was a lover of animals, music, long-boarding, writing, movies, tubing at Lake Powell, and chocolate. Jenna was a friend to all, and always rooted for the underdog. She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the Grandview 11th ward in the Grandview East Stake, and was currently working on achieving her Young Women Personal Progress award. Jenna had a testimony of the gospel, and lived to help others, especially those who were struggling. Jenna always lit up a room, and had a smile that resonated with all those she came in contact with. Jenna was her own person, always! We will miss Jenna Shae, our tiny rooski-doo my favorite little sister girl. Jenna is survived by her parents, John and Shaunae Ivins , Erin McGuire, her siblings, Heather Shaunae, Hailey Maerie, and Joseph Keona Reid, her grandparents, Reid and Nani Ivins, her grandmother, Doris Hutchings, and her grandparents, Duane and Terri McGuire. She is also survived by many aunts and uncles, and tons and tons of cousins. She is preceeded in death by her grandfather, Arden B. Hutchings. The Ivins Family greatly appreciates and thanks all of those who searched for Jenna, we feel your love and support, and are so thankful for everything you have done for Jenna, and for our family. Funeral services are on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at the Carterville chapel 960 W 2150 N Provo, UT. Viewing 8:30- 10:30 am, Funeral at 11:00 am.
