Jeffrey Long

Jeffery R Long, age 51, of Pleasant Grove passed away at his home on the morning of June 17, 2022.

Jeff was born on November 19, 1970 in Provo, Utah to Donald J Long and Karen Ross Long. He grew up in Orem, Utah and attended Sharon Elementary and graduated from Orem High School. Jeff worked in construction throughout his life and spent most of his time doing tile and masonry work. He was a master craftsman, who was taught by his father, and always paid special attention to detail.

Jeff had a passion for spending time outdoors fishing and hunting with his friends and family. When he was younger he spent most of his time up at Strawberry Reservoir on camping trips. He enjoyed hunting with his father and brothers growing up and later loved to go on hunts with his nephews and extended family. Jeff always loved talking to others he came in contact with and always had a smile that no one could forget. As some would say he was a ladies man. He truly did love his family and wanted to feel their love in return. He is now free from the burdens of this world and is happily reunited with those that have gone before him.

Jeff is survived by his parents Donald and Karen Long, brother, Russell (Melody) Long; brother, Brad (Elizabeth) Long; and sister Stephanie Cook. He is survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Jeff is preceded in death by his grandparents LeR and Luella Ross; grandfather, Joseph Long; and grandmother, Bertha Long.

Funeral services will be held at 12pm, Saturday, June 25, 2022 at Sundberg-Olpin Mortuary, 495 S State St, Orem, Utah. A viewing for family and friends will be held from 10:30-11:30 am prior to the services at the mortuary. Burial will then be followed at Timpanogos Memorial Gardens in Orem, Utah.
