Jean Wallace

September 14, 1949 — March 17, 2021

Jean Elizabeth Fossum (Parker) 71, of Orem passed peacefully away Wednesday March 17, 2021.  She was born on September 14, 1949 to Donald and Catherine Fossum.  She attended Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho where she met her husband Mike Parker of Blackfoot, Id.  They were married in June of 1969.  They had 4 daughters, Dana, Michelle, Kristina and Sarah.

Jean was such a people person from running the Wagon Wheel Café in Blackfoot, to a security guard/receptionist at Convergys in Orem.  She enjoyed spending time with her 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandkids.  Jean also loved being outdoors, especially BBQing up Provo canyon with her family. She loved watching her rodeos, whether it be in person or a on tv, but Her favorite was the bull riding.  Jean was known for matching her nails with her outfits, DAILY.  Also, her big hair and big earrings.

Jean is survived by her Sister Linda (Jerry) Miller and Brother Don (Pam) Fossum and 4 daughters, Dana (John) Hudson, Michelle Singh, Kristina Sorensen, and Sarah (Ricky) Hilliard. Her 11 grandchildren: Alicia & John Hudson, Lesley (Alec) Daughters Reveena & Indya Singh, and Gabby Root.  Kaleb & Dylan Sorensen.  Rickie, Josie & Jaidyn Hilliard.  And 5 Great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Jean was proceeded in death by her parents Donald & Catherine Fossum, 1 Brother Larry Fossum and her beloved grandson Austin Michael Sorensen.

Cremation to take place and a service will be held Wednesday, March 24th at the Church located at 1450 South 800 East in Orem at 2:00p.m. with a luncheon to follow.
