Janet Ross

Janet Carter Ross, age 78, of Orem, passed away July 6, 2015 at the Utah Valley Regional Medical Center in Provo, Utah. She was born in Provo on March 10, 1937 in Provo, Utah to Earl and Maude Dea Clark Carter. She married Alva Alexander Ross on December 1958 in Elko, Nevada. Their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple on February 10, 1999. She was a Foster Grandparent and a Senior Companion for many years. Janet retired from Utah Valley Regional Medical Center. Alva passed away February 10, 1998. In her younger years Alva and Janet enjoyed bowling and she also enjoyed reading. Survivors include her 2 children; Lorin (Tracy) Ross of Payson and Kenneth Alva Ross of Orem. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren. As well as 2 sisters Deann Gines of Orem, Earline Holley of Spanish Fork, 2 brothers David Earl (Linda) Carter of Payson and Norman John (Sue) Carter of Provo. She was preceded in death her husband Alva Alexander Ross on February 10, 1998. Graveside services will be held Friday at 10:00 a.m. at the Orem City Cemetery, 1520 North 800 East, Orem. A viewing will take place at Sundberg-Olpin Funeral Home prior to Graveside services from 9:00-9:30am
