Janet LaRee McManus

On July 23, 1937, Janet LaRee Cantrell was born in. Island City, Oregon. She graduated from La Grandle High School in 1955 and attended Eastern Oregon State College.

She married Richard McManus, who preceded her in death. They raised three children: Lisa L. Parks, preceding Janet in, death: Robert F. McManus of Provo, Utah; and Milton C. McManus, preceding Janet in death.

Janet is survived by the children of Lisa - which include Nicole Anderson, Jessica (Uriah) Weeks, Jacob (Kali) Carr, David (Perla) Carr, Samuel Carr, and Lydia Carr. She is also survived by her son, Bob and his children - which include Robert, Jr. (Trisha) McManus, Leslie (Ryan) Bingham, Chales (Keli'i) McManus, Jonathan (Michelle) McManus. She is also survived by the children of Milton - Ozzy McManus and Curtis McManus.

Janet had one sibling, Betty Cantrell Bass. who also preceded Janet in death. Janet is also survived by many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Although she lived in many places, Janet's last residence was in Provo, Utah. Janet was a life-long member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She was also very active in Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR).

During the evening of October 11, 2024, Janet slipped quietly from this world with family at her side.

Her viewing is scheduled for Sunday evening, October 20, from 6-8 p.m. It will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints located at 2801 W 620 N in Provo, Utah.

Her funeral service will be on Monday, October 21, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at the same location.

Interment will be in the Spanish Fork City Cemetery, Spanish Fork, Utah, next to Richard.
