Janet Fry

Our loving, kind, and beautiful mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, Janet Laureen (Wolfgang) Dana Fry, 73, passed away Thursday, November 27, 2014, after a valiant fight against cancer at her home in Punxsutawney, PA. Janet was born September 5, 1941, in Punxsutawney, to the late James and Ethelyn (Heitzer) Wolfgang. Janet was married and sealed for time and eternity in the LDS Dallas Temple to Don L. Dana who passed away in March 2003. In 2005, Janet married the late Truman Fry, who passed away in October 2014. Janet graduated from Punxsutawney Area High School in 1960. She was devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and loved the gospel of Jesus Christ. She lived for her family and friends and was always serving others. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her, especially her children and grandchildren who adored and loved her. She fought a valiant fight against cancer, always positive despite her pain and suffering. Janet is survived by four of her five children and their spouses: Ed (son) and Nancy Gray of Huntsville, Texas; Colleen (daughter) and John Pidge of Show Low, Arizona; Doug (son) and Darla Gray of Midway, Utah; Justin (son) and Angela Gray of Riverton, Utah; stepchildren: Ann Dana, Kristy Dana Corey, and George Dana, all of Texas; brother: James Wolfgang and wife Linda of College Station, Texas; sisters: Almeda Bowers of Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania; Imogene VanDyke and husband James of Clawson, Michigan; and Lois Williams and husband Jim of Corvalis, Montana; grandchildren: Kelly, Emily, and Dana Gray (daughters of Ed & Nancy); Brad, Heather, Rebecca, Kelsey, and Kaitlyn Pidge (children of John & Colleen); Madison, Hunter, Mallory and Heath Gray (children of Doug & Darla); Parker, Colton, Morgan, Christian, and Marissa Gray (children of Justin & Angela); as well as numerous step-children, step grandchildren and great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Janet was also preceded in death by her dear daughter, Kelly Jo Gray, who died in 1980. Services are as follows: Memorial Service/Burial - Orem, UT Sundberg-Olpin Mortuary, 495 S.
