It is with deep sorrow and much love that the family of Jim Tilson announces his passing. Jim died the morning of December 10, 2021, at the age of 74 in his home in Orem, Utah.
Jim was a decorated veteran who served 2 tours in the Vietnam war and spent a total of 33 years in the Army. He was an avid member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and took pride in living the gospel and serving others whenever he could. He always enjoyed laughing, joking around, and living life to the fullest. He will be greatly missed.
Jim will be lovingly remembered by his wife and best friend, Gail Tilson, and will forever be in the hearts of his children, Jessica, Jamie, Justin, Julie (Robbie), Joe, and Amanda and his grandchildren, Kingston, Marley, Makenna, and Brandon.
He was predeceased by his parents, Theron Tilson and Angela Tilson.

Military: 2 tours in Vietnam, Utah National Guard Reserves after active duty, he retired after serving a total of 33 years in the Army.
Jim was happiest when he was fixing things. He loved bringing new life to whatever seemed impossible to save. His man cave was his garage and he could work in it for hours, often repairing items for others.
A celebration of life will be held Tuesday, December 21, 2021, at the Orem 2nd Ward Chapel, 80 South 280 East, in Orem. You are welcome to visit from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. and services will begin at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the Orem City Cemetery.
