Ila May Naylor Huff was born May 27, 1929, on her oldest brother Joseph's 10th birthday in beautiful Cache Valley on Providence South Bench to Charles Arthus and Lily Helen Vaterlaus Naylor.
Her grandfather was one of the first settlers of Providence Bench in Cache Valley. She lived there until she was a teenager and then moved to Ogden, Utah.
She had three brothers - John Joseph was the oldest. He died in a tragic accident at age 11. Her other two brothers are Lynn D. Naylor and A. Boyd Naylor. She always meets her brothers in Providence, the Sunday before Memorial Day.
She married John Elliott Huff on February 26, 1945, and then moved to the Provo-Orem area. They were married at the Ogden, Utah Courthouse. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Provo Temple.
The Huffs have three children - One daughter, Sharn Laraine Hoover, Salt Lake; two sons - John Alton Huff, Port Orchard, Washington; and Jay Lee Huff, Orem, Utah. They have many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 22, 2024, at the Wheeler & Sundberg Funeral Home, 495 South State Street, Orem, Utah. A viewing for family and friends will be held from 9:30-10:30 a.m. before the services at the mortuary. Burial will be in the Spanish Fork City Cemetery.
