Hilde Ringger

Hilde Lore Sennhauser Ringger passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday July 29, 2018.  She lived a full and happy life.  She, her husband and their four children immigrated to the United States in 1948 from Switzerland and subsequently became citizens of this great country.

As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints she served in many callings faithfully.  The crowning achievement of her service was serving in the Swiss Temple as matron along with her husband Louis who served as president.  She has always been an inspiration and wonderful example to her children of hard work and consistent support and nurturing of her family.  She was an accomplished commercial artist and shared her considerable talent with her family.  She was a gourmet cook with her children trying to emulate her skills and never getting close. She loved the outdoors and spent many happy days enjoying her favorite retreats to the meadows of the Grand Teton.  She faithfully read the scriptures every day and would teach her children by reminding them of specific things the scriptures would instruct them to do.

She was preceded in death by her husband Louis Emil Ringger in 2009 as well as her parents Karl and Mathilda Sennhauser and a younger sister Lore a twin daughter who died at birth and a daughter in law Kathleen Montague Ringger (Peter).  She is survived by her four children-Hans (Connie), Ursula (Dolan), Peter and Louis (Cheri) as well as seventeen grandchildren, forty one great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.  She has a strong testimony and sure knowledge that we will all be together again in happy reunion.  Our mother wished to have a simple grave-side service.

In accordance with her wishes the family will hold a graveside service at the Orem City Cemetery located at 1520 North 800 East Orem, Utah on Saturday August 4, 2018 beginning at  ten o’clock.  Friends and extended family are welcome to attend.
