Heather Elizabeth Kellogg (43) of Springville, Utah, passed away Friday, May 31st, 2019 in her parent's home after an epic battle with a rare form of brain cancer. She never, ever gave up, and fought with all she had to the end. She was a warrior.
Heather was born in Fullerton, California, December 31st, 1975 to David William and Elizabeth Joan Mooney Frost. She married Larry Irwin Kellogg on February 23rd, 2006 in the Mount Timpanogos temple. Being a wife and a mother was always Heather's dream and it came true when she married Larry and had two beautiful daughters, Elizabeth (10) and Hazel (9). They were the joy of her life.
Following high school, Heather attended the culinary arts program at UVU and then worked at Alpine Country Club, Thanksgiving Point and Costco. Heather was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, serving as a Primary President twice. She also served in scouts and loved teaching in primary. She was so sad when her illness prevented her from having a calling. Heather will be remembered for her love of service. She was a regular fixture at her daughters' school, volunteering in the PTA, and helping in their classrooms. She loved to knit baby hats that she donated to the church's humanitarian effort. Heather was wonderful homemaker. She loved to decorate for every holiday, and had a beautiful garden.
