Glena Mae (Hatch) Hullinger, 81, of Orem, passed away November 29, 2018. Glena was born to Roy and Martha Hatch on June 1, 1937 in Panguitch, Utah. She married her sweetheart Floyd Earl Hullinger on August 9, 1963 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He preceded her in death on Oct. 17, 2017.
Glena graduated from Dixie High School in St. George, Utah and attended BYU. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Glena served as a full-time missionary in the North Central States Mission from 1961-1963 and served in many church callings throughout her life. Glena and Floyd had eight children and raised their family in Orem. Glena was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Her family was her joy. She was an excellent teacher, often sharing her love of the scriptures and the Savior with her family. Her faith and testimony were a strength to all who knew her. She will be dearly missed.
Glena is survived by her children Penny (Jay) Walker, David (Laurie), Jeff (Lucia), Craig, Jim (Krysta), Martha (Shawn) Karr, Brian, Marilyn (Jason) Porter; 19 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren; siblings Karma Pectol, Art (Carole) Hatch, Arlene (DeVaughn) Bell, Carol (Carl) Moss, Rell (Suzanne) Hatch. She is preceded in death by her husband Floyd; her parents; son-in-law Dennis Moore; siblings Marina (Mabin) Duffin, Roy Hatch, Martha Maffei, Merle Hatch, Karl Hatch; brother-in-law Hal Pectol.
Funeral services will be held Sat. Dec. 8 at the LDS chapel at 225 E. 200 N. Orem at 11:00am. Viewing before the funeral from 9:30-10:30. Interment will be at the Orem City Cemetery.
