Evelyn Bond

Evelyn Nielson Bond, 57 years young, of Orem, passed away peacefully Thursday October 19, 2017, with her family by her side. She was born July 23,1960, in Provo, Utah, to Calvin H. & VonDeen Crane Nielson. She married Steven A. Bond September 2, 1982, in the Provo Temple. Evelyn loved no more than caring for her husband, children & grandchildren. She was dedicated in all that she did.
She attended Orem High School, UVCC, & Cosmetology School. She loved cooking and was very good at it no matter the group size. She was the life of the family party or any gathering and made everyone feel welcome. She served as primary worker in all ages, primary president, young women president, compassionate service leader, and many others. She enjoyed serving others and made friends wherever she would go.
Evelyn is survived by her husband of 35 years Steven A. Bond; her children Natalie N. (James) Powell, Kyle S. (Lindsay) Bond, Ryan N. (Rose) Bond; grandchildren Jace and Declan; and siblings Steve Nielson, JoDeen Marrott, Cindy Smith.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2017, at 11 a.m. in the LDS Ward Building located at 865 West 1000 North, Orem, Utah. Viewings will be held on Friday, October 27, 2017, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Sundberg-Olpin Mortuary located at 495 South State Street, Orem, Utah, and Saturday, October 28, 2017, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. just prior to the funeral services at the church. Burial will be in the Orem City Cemetery.
