Ethan Timoko

August 19, 1991 — July 6, 2019

Ethan Larry Bertrum Nahu Timoko 27, of Orem Utah, passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2019 due to an accidental suicide. Ethan was born August 19, 1991 in Auckland, New Zealand to Alex & Eileen Timoko. He graduated from Merit Preparatory Academy and then went on to college at UVU where he played Rugby. He was employed at Action Target before this tragic accident took place.

Ethan Timoko was truly one of a kind. He was hardworking, smart, hilarious, selfless, loving, but most importantly an amazing father to his sweet little girl, Aveah Hope Elaine Ina-Marie Timoko, who unfortunately lost both of her parents in this accident. Aveah was always his number one priority. He was a kid who didn’t have much, but gave the little that he did have, in order to raise his daughter and give her the life she deserved. His main focus was to provide for Aveah and that’s exactly what he did. That’s just the type of person Ethan was. Always putting people before himself.

Ethan enjoyed the great outdoors and spending time with his family. If he wasn’t at the lake fishing, in the mountains hunting and camping, he was always with family playing sports and just simply enjoying each other’s company. He also loved to make people laugh. The life of the party and the person people were always hoping to see at family events, because he simply just knew how to have a good time. Ethan truly was a family man. He comes from a very large family filled with countless cousins who love him deeply and miss him sorely.

He is survived by his mother Eileen Timoko, father Alex Timoko, brother Christopher Timoko, sister Danielle Timoko, daughter Aveah Timoko, grandparents Ina and Larry Price, Margaret Timoko and lastly, many many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Ethan, words simply cannot describe how much we miss you. The world will never be the same without your kind heart and soul. May your spirit live on through each of us. Until we meet again.
