Ellen Foster

Ellen Foster Price passed away August 7, 2015 in Provo, Utah. She was born April 4, 1940 in Lake Shore, Utah a daughter of William McClain Foster, Lora Lavena Huff. She married M. Curtis Price on November 20, 1959 in the Los Angeles LDS Temple. Words can never fully describe the amount of service, kindness, dedication and determination that filled mom's life. She reached out to every person she met. She has gone to be with the love of her life, Curt. She leaves behind 6 children, April Leder (Bob), Jon Price (Karen), Jason Price (Lisa), Jim Price (Stephanie), Michelle Halversen (Ron), Jenn Polito (Damian). Her 15 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren who will miss her dearly. Her family grew even bigger as a foster parent through LDS social services. She was a foster mother to over 30 new-borns, 20 teenagers and young adults and an entire other family of 7. Nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews felt her love through cards and packages of love and sharing. Her membership in the LDS church was marked by a life time of service and dedication. She loved others deeply and was loved in return. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the Heather Road LDS chapel, 620 Heather Road, Orem. A visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Sundberg-Olpin Funeral Home, 495 South State Street, Orem and also Wednesday from 9:00 to 9:45 a.m. prior to services at the ward chapel.
