Garry began his journey on March 16, 1952, in Provo, Utah, a twin born to Ralph O. and Jackie F. Brown. He passed away March 15, 2018, age 65.
He played football for and graduated from Orem High School. He fulfilled a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to California. He graduated Cum Laude from Brigham Young University with a bachelor of science. He continued on at Northwestern in Chicago, attaining the degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery.
He and his wife Ann raised their family in Orem, Utah. There he practiced dentistry at Family Dental Health and Genesis Dental. He loved helping patients brighten their lives, not just their smiles. The comment often came back that "he saved my life." His generosity of service was part of his integrity and life.
He and Ann enjoyed working with the Hirsche Smiles Organization, traveling to Guatemala for humanitarian trips. He loved to hunt and fish in Alaska. He would golf anywhere. And loved to vacation with his family in Maui, Island Park, and St. George. Garry loved his family and will be greatly missed. He loved the gospel and lived a life of service.
Survived by his wife Ann, children: Shelby and Clint Harris, Jordan Brown, Kehley Steele, and Landon Brown; grandchildren: Elder Austin Harris, Zachary and Brock Harris, Tahlia and Kya Steele.
Garry was a friend to all he met and gave unconditional love and friendship
