Dorothy Hayward

August 9, 1921 — May 23, 2016

Dorothy Soulier Hayward age 94 passed away May 23, 2016.  She was born August 9, 1921 in Provo, Utah.  She is the daughter of William M. Soulier and Jennie Linn Johnson Soulier.  She married Roy Kelsch Hayward June 2, 1941 in Orem.  The Marriage was solemnized at the Salt Lake Temple in September of 1960.  She had 2 children.  She was a member of the Cherry Hill 5th Ward for many years enjoying callings as Relief Society teacher and Mutual Leader.  Dorothy and Roy also enjoyed working in name extraction compiling names for the Genealogical Library at BYU.  She loved her Grandchildren dearly, her hobbies included crocheting and yard work wining the Orem Beautiful Yard award.

She is survived by: daughter Royann (Ladell) Baum of Provo, 6 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and 10 great, great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, May 27, 2016 at the East Lawn Memorial Hills Cemetery, 4800 North 650 East in Provo.  Family and Friends may call from 7:00 to 8:00 PM on Thursday, May 26th at the Sundberg-Olpin Mortuary, 495 South State Street in Orem and Friday from 9:00 to 9:30 AM, also at the mortuary, prior to the graveside service.

The Family wants to thank staff and her cottage friends at the Legacy Village in Provo for all the loving care and friendship that was given to Dorothy.  Also special thanks to the Quail Ridge Branch.
