Doreen Knippenberg

Doreen Jensen Knippenberg, born December 6, 1950 in Inglewood CA, to Anthony Grant Jensen and Barbara Janet Sayre, sadly passed away in Santaquin, Utah January 2017.  Doreen grew up in Southern California and attended schools in Granada Hills and Simi Valley graduating from Simi Valley High.  As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, she enjoyed all of her callings especially visiting teaching.

Doreen married Kim Knippenberg on March 14, 1976 in the Provo LDS Temple, later divorced.  They had three children: Heidi Lynn Knippenberg Parks, N. Isaac Knippenberg, Samuel E, Knippenberg and 7 grandchildren, who were the joy of her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her children, grandchildren and siblings; C. Bruce Jensen, (Suzette) Gary L. Jensen and Carol Jensen Blain (Warren) 11 nieces and nephews, 3 aunts, 2 uncles and lots of cousins. Thank you all for your support at this time.

There will be a memorial service in her honor Sat. Jan. 28, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the LDS chapel on 955 N. 300 E. in Orem.

The family would like to express their gratitude to all the people who did their best to help lift her burdens and make her life a little easier to bear. Thank You. We are confident that she is at peace now, and enjoying a reunion with those she loved who have passed on.  Rest in peace, Doreen.  We love you.
