Our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, Donna B. Page Elder, 88, passed away peacefully, August 10, 2014 at her home in Pleasant Grove, Utah.

Donna was born October 24, 1925 in Marion, Utah to Ira James Page and Thelda Bowers Page. She lived most of her early life in Kamas, Utah, and graduated from South Summit High School. She then continued her education at Brigham Young University, where she met and married the love of her life, Lorenzo D. Elder, who had just returned from serving in the Army during World War II. They were married on June 4, 1947 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She continued at BYU and graduated with her teaching degree. They built a home in Orem, Utah, and lived there for 52 years.

Donna taught school in the Alpine School District for 27 years. She worked at Sharon, Geneva, Westmore, and Cherry Hill Elementary schools. She loved teaching, especially in the first grade. Her loving nature and encouraging influence inspired many children to excel and love learning.

She was an active member of the LDS Church and was called to serve in the Young Women's program as President and camp director, Stake Relief Society Counselor, Ward Relief Society President and various other positions. She and her husband worked in the Provo LDS Temple for four and a half years. They were called to serve in the Tucson, Arizona mission, where they met many eternal friends.

She was a strong and sensitive woman, who loved her family dearly. Nothing pleased her more than spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening, camping, fishing, and living life outdoors. Donna was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She will be missed.

She is survived by her two children; Pamela Dee (Stephen) Naugle and Steven Lorenzo Elder; Eight grandchildren: Andrew (Chantal) of Aurora, Illinois, Samuel (Amy), Jacob, and Stephen Naugle, of Pleasant Grove, Utah, Camille (Brian) Young of Grantsville, Utah, JeniLyn, Jason, and Russell Elder, also of Pleasant Grove, Utah.
