Don Thurlow Ward died peacefully, surrounded by loved ones at the age of 77. Don is survived by his wife Karen Edwards Ward; Daughter, Tamie Barnhurst (Blair) Lehi Utah; Daughter, Vicki Graff (Chris) St. George, Utah; Son, Brant Ward Provo, Utah; His Sister Marie Ward, Provo, Utah. He is preceded in death by his parents Bill & Della Ward. Don was born on April 4, 1937 in Provo, Utah, to William T Ward & Celena Brailsford. He graduated from Provo High School in 1955 where he was president of the high school car club. He married his high school sweet heart August 30, 1956, in Provo, Utah. He worked at Geneva Steel as a switchman and Utah Power & Light as an accounts payable manager, retired after 31 years. He served in the Navel reserves for 22 years. He was a member of the Corvette Club of Utah, where Don and Karen enjoyed many wonderful trips. Over the span of his life he owned many show cars. His pride and joy was his fully restored 1968 Camaro and his 2007 Corvette. Don loved being with his family and friends, he sought to live a life of example so that his family might know the joy of life, family and a strong work ethic. He will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 11, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. in the Sharon 3rd Ward Chapel, 430 South 700 East in Orem. Friends and family may call Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Sundberg-Olpin Mortuary, 495 South State St. in Orem and also Wednesday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the ward chapel. Interment will be in the Eastlawn Memorial Hills Cemetery
