Dewey Zubeck

Dewey J. Zubeck died in Orem, UT, January 17, 2017. He was born in Kenilworth, UT, on April 14, 1921, the 5th child of Joseph and Martha Dansworth Zubeck.
He grew up in Orem, UT, and attended schools there. He left Lincoln High School early to serve in the Army in WWII. After the war he worked at Geneva Steel and then did heavy construction work in Utah and other states.
He married Norma Hendrickson, and they had two children. They were divorced.
He married Ruth Stokes in 1958.
He loved to hunt and fish and work on his fruit farm in Orem. He was a High Priest in the LDS Church at the time of his death.
He is survived by his wife; sons: Brent, SLC, UT, Lynn (Lori), Delta, UT, and by Ruth’s children: Allan Staker (Kristi), Springdale, UT, Kathryn Sullivan (Craig), Sandy, UT; by beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren and nephew and nieces in Alaska.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2017, at 12 Noon, in the Orem 7th Ward Chapel, 365 South 900 East, Orem, UT. Friends may visit on Saturday, prior to the services at the chapel, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Orem City Cemetery. Condolences may be left here on the site.
