Dennis Dalebout
May 31, 1939 — June 24, 2016
Dennis Raymond Dalebout, 77, of Orem Utah, passed away June 24, 2016 from cancer. He was born May 31, 1939 in Bell, California to Anna Elizabeth Margaretha Schaap and Pieter Dalebout. He married Carol Lee Wallace on July 18, 1962 in The Los Angeles LDS Temple. She preceded him in death on May 3, 1989. He married Bonnie Jean Jensen on April 20, 1990 in the Los Angeles LDS Temple.
He was a great listener, advisor, father, grandfather and great grandfather. His example will be carried on through many generations to come. He loved serving in many callings in the LDS church, serving as the 11 year old scout master right up to his death. He was an amazing example of service and generosity. Dennis is survived by his wife Bonnie and five children: Beverly Denise (Laurence) Brassfield of Provo UT, Dennis Raymond Dalebout II of Anaheim Ca., Thomas McVernon (Nancy) Dalebout of Huntington Beach Ca., Stacy Ann (Ron) Gomer of Orem Ut., Cheri Lynn (Laurence) Pitcher of Yorba Linda Ca., 16 Grandchildren and 11 ½ Great Grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents Pieter and Anna, brother Pieter, and granddaughter Carol.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday July 2 2016 at 11:00 am in the Sharon Park 1st Ward Chapel located at 300 N 100 E Orem, UT. Viewing 9:45 am - 10:45 am prior to service. Burial will be in the Orem City Cemetery.
