The toughest person I’ve ever had the privilege of calling my best friend, our sister, has lost her courageous battle with a very nasty disease.
Dena passed away Friday, June 5th at her home. She will definitely be missed by many people. She was the most generous person I’ve ever met, helping anyone who needed it. She had a huge heart and loved without question. She was by far the strongest Woman I’ve ever met
There is comfort in knowing she’s not in pain anymore. Going to miss our Wendover trips and morning conversations, but I know many people will miss her.
She is preceded in death by dad, mom, younger sister, and grandparents.
She is survived by her Kids, Steffany and Steven Kelly, Jason and Tracy Marks, Ashlee Martinez (Niece) and Bailey Thompson, 6 grandkids who she absolutely adored and loved more than anything, Brother Jason Tolton, and Sister Sheila Roylance.
We will be having a memorial from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, June 12 at Sundberg-Olpin Mortuary, 495 South State Street, Orem, and a celebration of life on Saturday, June 13 at 3 p.m. at the Hitching Post, 30 North Geneva Road, Orem. You must be 21 to join us at the bar.
In Lieu of flowers, Dena has asked for donations to be made to a cancer, diabetes, or heart foundation.
