David Williams

David Delmont Williams, 79 year-old resident of Orem, Utah, died Saturday November 28, 2015. David was the seventh of 12 children born to Berton Elliott Williams and Rachel May Peabody Williams. He was born on December 26, 1935, in Malad, Idaho, where he grew up and attended school. He joined the Air Force and served for four years--39 months of which were served in Chateauroux, France. He later attended Weber State College and received a Bachelors of Science degree in accounting. He married Eva LaVee Stott on January 14, 1960. They have four daughters. David was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, where he held various positions over the years. He also worked in the Boy Scouts of America and in the Cub Scouts for many years. David is survived by his wife and four daughters, Debra (Lynn) Shepherd of Lindon, Utah, Leslie (Dave) Denkers of Highland, California, Janine (Steven) Boyce of Derwood, Maryland, and Wendy (Glenn) Taylor of Burley, Idaho; also, 14 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Survivors also include four sisters, Connie Harris of Orem, Utah, Colleen (Gene) Richards of West Valley, Utah, Linda Snyder of Tooele, Utah, and Pat (Jack) Bracken of Orem, Utah. He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, Ila Mae, Diana and Rosalie and four brothers, Dee J, Bert, Jerold Dean and Grant. The family wishes to thank Hearts for Hospice and Home Health for their loving care of David for many months; also, the staff of Legacy Assisted Living in Spanish Fork and Provo. The funeral services will be held at the Cascade Fourth Ward Meeting House, 1050 E 200 North, Orem Utah, on Monday, December 7, 2015, at 11:00 am, with the viewing at 9:45 am.
