David (Eskimo) Alfred Lammersen earned his angel wings on October 29, 2016 after a long and hard-fought battle with addiction. He had an immense passion for music and enthusiastically played the guitar frequently. David had many friends who enjoyed his warm smile and kind eyes. His mother, having been raised in Anchorage, AK and growing up fishing at a nearby river, taught him to genuinely appreciate nature. He was passionate about camping and hiking with his friends, especially fond of the trips they would take yearly to Goblin Valley State Park in southern Utah.
David was born in Stockton, CA on November 13, 1988 and in 2000 his cherished mother and him moved to Utah seeking a calm and peaceful life. He cared so deeply for his mother and was extremely protective of her, always a caring son that made sure she was taken care of. David was extremely proud of his Eskimo heritage and felt honored to be nicknamed “Eskimo”.
David will be survived by his loving mother Judy Lammersen, his aunt Pree Sedillo, along with several cousins, his special friend Erica Hoover, as well as many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his biological father Mark Anthony Lammersen and step-father Dorn Karl Allred.
We would like to help Judy raise funds to aid in the monumental costs of memorial services. In lieu of flowers, please contribute to the Plumfund we have set up for her. Your kind thoughts and prayers are sincerely appreciated.
Memorial services will be held at the Sundberg-Olpin Funeral Home (495 South State St., Orem, UT 84058) on Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at 7 pm.
