Colleen Meeks Marshall, 91 of Orem, Utah, returned to her Heavenly Father on September 11, 2022, at her home, peacefully in her sleep, while surrounded by friends and family. She was born on December 28, 1930, in Kanab Utah to Dalton Meeks and Mary Ann Robinson. She married Joseph Robert Marshall on January 16, 1950. They were sealed to one another for time and eternity on January 19, 1980. She was preceded in death by Joleen, a daughter in March of 1952 and by her husband Joe on May 5, 2008.
Colleen was a wonderful mother and grandmother and loved her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great great-grandchildren dearly. She worked as a waitress while her kids were in school and used her tip money to buy her kids school lunches. She also worked at a school lunch for a time where she didn't receive any tips! She has held several different jobs in the ward. She loved being a primary teacher, a den mother and especially her time as a ward librarian.
Colleen is survived by four children: Jim (Angie) Marshall of Washington, Utah; Cheri Sunset Buckner of Provo, Utah; Bill (Julie) Marshall of Libby, Montana; Cindy Dickinson of Orem, Utah, 12 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and 7 great great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by son-in-law Dee “Buck” Buckner and daughter-in-law Debra Marshall.
