Clara Brandon
May 1, 1919 — November 20, 2014
On November 20, 2014, Clara returned to our Heavenly Father. She left peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Frankfurt, Germany on May 1, 1919 to Anna Hoch and Francisco Chiste. She lived in Germany until she was married to Master Sargent Curtis Brandon and came to the US in 1948. She lived in Columbia, S. C. until 2000, when she relocated to Orem, Utah to be close to her family. She was a master seamstress and enjoyed making clothing and baby blankets all her life. She is survived by her daughter, Bianca Brandon Navarro and son-in-law, Marco Navarro of Pleasant Grove, Utah and her grandsons, Sean Navarro and his fiancé, Hannah Atkisson of Springville, Virginia, and Jose and Luana Navarro in El Salvador, and her two great-grandchildren, Jose Jr. and Carolina also of El Salvador.
Her viewing will be at the Park 1st Ward at Center St. and 750 West in Orem, at 9:00 am followed by the funeral at 10:00 am on November the 25th, 2014. There will be a lunch following and then the burial.
The family would like to thank all those who helped ease her way towards the end, and especially Aleen Larsen and her family.
