Chesley Walker

August 7, 1947 — January 1, 2018

He enjoyed hunting and fishing with family and friends. He loved collecting rocks, coins, and cards. Chesley was in a bowling league and loved to shoot pool. He loved sports of all kinds- watching, listening, and talking about sports. One of his joys was going out to the movies and taking the family out to eat. Chesley was genuinely a great person with a huge heart. He would do anything for anyone and got great joy out of helping others.

He graduated Payson High School Class of 1966. Chesley served in the Army in Vietnam in 1967. He graduated in business management in 1970. He also graduated from Utah Technical College in Provo, Utah, in 1971.

He worked at Pacific State Steel for two years. Chesley worked for the U.S. Postal Service, retiring after 33 years. He then worked at United Way for eight years where he met many new friends.

Chesley is survived by his wife Maile Boman Walker, his two children Victor Price Walker and Sarah Marie (Mike) Walker, and his three grandchildren Lily, Anthony, and Milo.

He was preceded in death by his father Chesley Price Walker, his mother Ruth Marie Walker, his two sisters Jean Marie and Emma Virginia, and his brother Jack Shepard.
