Cheri Ann Buckner

Cheri Ann Sunset Buckner, 71, of Provo, passed away Friday, October 4, 2024. She was born April 23, 1953, in Provo, Utah, to Joseph Robert Marshall and Colleen Meeks Marshall. She married Victor Dee Buckner on December 22, 1984. He preceded her in death on October 20, 2002.

Cheri was a homemaker and in her later years she enjoyed working in daycare and at the Scera. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother and she loved her children and grandchildren. 

Cheri is survived by her four children: Kimberlee (Rob) Calder of Northglenn, Colorado; Shawn (Denise) Denbow of Juneau, Alaska; Falecia (Curtis) Buckner of Provo, Utah; Natacia Buckner of Provo, Utah; 12 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister and brother

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, October 11, 2024, at Wheeler & Sundberg Funeral Home, 495 South State Street, Orem, Utah. Viewings for family and friends will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, October 10, 2024, at Wheeler & Sundberg Funeral Home and from 9:30-10:30 a.m. on Friday, October 11, 2024, before the services at the mortuary. Burial will be in the Orem City Cemetery.
