Carol Prestwich

Carol Ann Prestwich, age 78, of Orem, Utah passed away on Monday, January 2, 2017. She was born on August 30, 1938 in Garfield, Utah to Sanford Wayne Peterson and Norma Hancock and was the oldest of four girls. She married Gary Glen Prestwich on September 14, 1956 in Magna, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti Temple. He preceded her in death on January 12, 2014.
They are the proud parents of 5 children who were the joy of their lives. She spent her life in the service of others and enjoyed sewing, crafts, and playing cards.
She is survived by her 5 children: Tangie Milligan (Larry), Cindy Taylor (Greg), Teri Ryan (John), Marcus Prestwich (Angela), Jason Prestwich (Maxine), 17 grandchildren, 19 1/2 great grandchildren; sisters Charlene Solomon, Chris Guymon (Ron); sister-in-law Dianna Prestwich.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 7, 2017 at 11 a.m. at the Suncrest 9th Ward chapel, 140 N 400 W, Orem. A viewing will be held Friday, January 6, 2017 from 6-8 p.m. at the Sundberg-Olpin Mortuary, 495 South State Street, Orem, Utah and also Saturday 9:45-10:45 a.m. at the church prior to services. Interment will be held at the Salem City Cemetery.
