Cameron Gregory Whittle passed away July 19, 2015 into a life of peace and rest from a weary mind and heart. Cam fought hard with the knowledge he had to overcome his struggles. Cam was born October 1, 1969 to Cyril Monroe Whittle and Viki Lane Krehbiel in Provo, Utah. He married his high school sweetheart Tonia Locke, they had 3 children. They were later divorced. He married Sandy Peterson on July 28, 2011. Cam and Sandy met while working at Deseret Industries. The way they met was a miracle. Cam loved to fish. he could spend hours doing this on a quiet afternoon. He sought for things that would soothe his mind. His favorite sport was Baseball. Any movie he could find on the subject he would watch. He knew Greek History like the back of his hand. He was a "foody" for sure. He especially liked roast, mashed potatos and gravy, his mom's homemade Ruhbarb pie, and most of all sandwiches which if he had the chance he would gladly eat all day long. He was an amazing cook. One thing he could do and was known for was his "green thumb". He could grow a mean garden, and revive any lawn that looked absolutely dead. He was an amazing mechanic. He built a Chevy Chevelle from the ground up. Ford and Chevy trucks were his favorite vehicles. He could fix anything placed in front of him. Cam was a huge fan of Garth Brooks, Def Leppard and ACDC. two of his favorite songs were Shameless and Two Steps Behind. He dedicated these songs to the two of us. He had just been introduced to a christian comedian by the name of Michael Jr. He was immediately hooked. His biggest dream was to open an animal sanctuary with both domestic and exotic animals employing senior citizens because as Cam stated, "they are forgotten, and children need knowledge of these things". He wanted them to guide tours for the community and share what they knew. Time for some special memories.......When Cam was little, his mother often would not know where he was or could not find him, Cam being the adventerous kid he was. She would call his grandma, and sure enough Cam would be there. Having traveled from Springville to Provo, Provo to Springville. He loved to watch his grandpa Krehbiel fish, the soft kindness of his grandma Krehbiel and how she supported him, grandma Lera rubbing his arm and stating in her softest voice, "Oh Cameron". He loved watching his sister Brandi put her foot down, Britni calling him "Cammy" (she was the only one allowed to call him that), he was amazed watching Chey work on computers and his brilliance, and he so appreciated his fathers wisdom. He used to love watching Karlie when she was a baby scoot across the floor instead of crawl, taking Darcy in the car for rides (just he and Darcy), taking Kaiden for rides and getting a drink listening to Do You Wanna Get Rocked by Def Leppard. Cams greatest time was spent with his mother watching television and chatting about life and things. She was absolutely his best friend in the world. Cam is a member of the Chirch of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He had just received the Aaronic Priesthood 6 weeks before his passing. He was very proud of this accomplishment. Cam is survived by his wife Sandy Whittle. Children Darcy Whittle Peterson (Russ), Kaiden Whittle, Karlie Whittle. Grandchildren Brooklyn and Cashton. Sisters Britni Measom (Brad), Brandi Dudek (Joe), Nieces and nephews Riley, Celek, Holden, Jordyn, Shalyea, Anthony, Taelor, Boe, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
