Brian Hansen

August 6, 1987 — July 14, 2017

Brian Scott Hansen, was definitely “kind of a big deal”. So much so that God couldn’t go another moment in eternity without him there. He left his earthly home July 14, 2017

Brian embraced life arriving on August 6, 1987, blessing his parents, Kelly & Glenda with his presence on this earth and providing an instant best friend and additional playmate for brother, Coby and sister, Tami.

Later he developed a friendship which quickly escalated into an infatuation, blossoming into a deep love for Challaé Wilkerson. He wasted no time proposing to her on the four-wheeler at his favorite place, Sand Mountain at the Sand Dunes in Utah.

Brian and Challaé took the first step in becoming an eternal family on February 11, 2012. He married her in Cancun on the beach to fulfill their dreams on May 26, 2012. Later they were sealed for time and all eternity on August 27, 2014.

Raxtyn and God knew what great parents they would be and sent the beautiful gift of daughters… Naomi and Layla to complete their little family.

Brian adored his children. He was the world’s most devoted father. So playful, loving and fun…making memories that will sustain and live on in the hearts of everyone.

Brian possessed many talents, a jack of all trades. He continually had projects he was working on and he loved anything with an engine. He graduated from Lehi High School. He studied auto body at UVSC, acquired his CDL and was the Shop Manager/Master Mechanic at Ace Rents. He loved his job and his work family.

Brian brought joy and laughter to everyone. His playfulness was infectious. His personality was bigger than any room he entered. He loved spending time with his wife, girls, family members and numerous friends, camping, four-wheeling and celebrating all that life has to offer.

He formed an everlasting bond with his grandparents, parents, siblings, cousins, in-laws, extended family and friends who he considered family.

Brian is survived by his wife Challaé and their two daughters: Naomie Frena (5) and Layla Mailliw (2); parents: Glenda & Dean Chadwick, Kelly & Denise Hansen, Darrell & Wendy Wilkerson; siblings: Coby (Tiffany) Foster, Tami (Dave) Wilkerson, Ariel (Rick) Fowler, Ammon, Dallon, Bridger and Landyn Wilkerson; grandparents: Glen Campbell, Ronald Hansen and Arlyn Hansen. He is preceded in death by his son, Raxtyn; grandparents: Belva Ann Campbell, Jacquie Campbell and Lena Hansen.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 20, 2017, at 11 a.m. in the Grove 9th Ward, 56 South 1300 West, Pleasant Grove, Utah. Viewings will be held on Wednesday, July 19, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Sundberg-Olpin Mortuary, 495 South State, Orem, and Thursday, July 20, from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the church prior to the funeral services.
