Beverly Anne Sillito Hale was born August 3, 1937, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Beverly had many adventures before passing away in Utah, February 14, 2016. Upon graduating from High School in Fort Macleod, Alberta, she entered The Galt School of Nursing in Lethbridge, Alberta, where she received her degree as a Registered Nurse in 1958. She loved nursing, especially working in labor and delivery. She also made time to bear and nurture four of her own children. She worked in Hospitals in Alberta (Lethbridge, Medicine Hat and Edmonton) before finding her way south to Utah where she worked at the State Hospital in Provo, and the American Fork Developmental Center. In Utah she met and married James Charles Hale on December 26, 1970. Beverly is preceded in death by two of her four children (Sheridan Anne and Tracy Ellen) and her husband Jim. She is survived by two children: Tara (Mark) Pace and Tammy (Ken) Hafen plus twelve younger brothers and sisters, eight grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. Those who knew Beverly best remarked that it was fitting that she passed away on Valentine's Day. She was indeed a sweetheart. Her warmth and friendliness, her ability to reach out to others blessed the lives of many around her, even in her last days as a resident of the Beehive Home in Orem, Utah. One fellow resident remarked "she is my best friend." Our special thanks to those at the Beehive Homes who loved and cared for her in her declining years. A Great Lady has left us. How we will miss her. Funeral services will be Tuesday, February 16, 2016, at 4:00 pm at the Sundberg-Olpin Funeral Home, 495 South State Street in Orem. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Interment will take place in Camp Williams Veteran's Memorial Park Cemetery on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at 12 noon.
