Becky Macdonald

June 20, 1969 — May 11, 2016

Becky Rene Christian MacDonald, of Orem Utah passed away at the tender age of 46 on a Wednesday evening at 10:57p.m. on May 11th  2016 in her home surrounded by beloved family and friends. She was born in Peterborough New Hampshire to her parents Dianne Lynn Mathews Partridge and Robert James Christian on June 20th in the year 1969 along with her twin brother Brian Daniel Christian. She is survived by her parents, older twin brother, her two children Robbie and Angel Macdonald and one grandchild Kara MacDonald.

She was moved to Utah with her family in the summer of 1974 where she lived and grew up in the town of Orem where she attended various schools Westmore Elementary, Geneva Elementary, Orem Jr. High School and eventually graduating from Mountain View High School in 1987. She then went on to marry Michael MacDonald for a time, have two children and attend Provo College where she graduated with her associates degree as a Medical Assistant. She cheerfully found work in Ogden as a Certified Medical Assistant and spent many meaningful years working for Dr. Eric Johnson at Ogden Clinic before moving back to Orem where she then found work at the Revere Health OBGYN women’s clinic in American Fork, where she fast made friends while keeping Dr. Allen on track.

In her heart, she considered herself a free spirit and didn’t shy away from the moniker of hippie. She loved people, collected friends like they were precious works of art, adored her family, and had an iron determination to live. She was fearless when speaking her mind or giving advice, and was a stickler for being good to people and having others be good to each other. She was independent and strong willed and could be cantankerous and argumentative, but she would call for advice when trying to know which candidate will save the planet or what important legislation needs to be implemented. She loved to have fun with her family and friends and displayed an enduring and deep love for those around her.

She left her mark on this world with her infectious smile and lilting laugh of which we all will miss.
