Barbara Lunan

Barbara Jo Lunan, 69, resident of Orem, UT, died April 18th, 2020. She was Born on June 29th, 1950 in Nebraska, on her father’s birthday, to Clarence and Ruth Toland who have preceded her in death. She and Dan Lunan were married for time and all eternity in the Seattle LDS Temple on April 17th 1987.

Barbara was a loving, charitable, & tenacious twice survivor of cancer. She enjoyed many hobbies including sewing and cooking lots of treats and meals for her children and grandchildren. Most famous was her waffle cookies and chocolate mayonnaise cake. She had a great sense of humor; which continues in her children and grandchildren. Upon her third recurrence of cancer, she was unable to fight and passed away early the morning of April 18th.

She will continue on in the hearts & memories of family and friends. She is survived by her loving husband, her three boys and their wives: Brad & Marie Ashworth, Bryan & DeAnna Ashworth, and Joseph & Heather Lunan; 5 grandchildren; and her brother and sisters in Washington; Cort Toland, Sheri Mailey, and Gail Solomon.

No memorial services will be held because of the current pandemic involving COVID 19. The family appreciates your love and prayers. Those wishing to pay their respects are encouraged to donate to cancer research.
