Barbara Burr

Barbara Elaine Davis Burr, age 75, passed away on Friday, January 5, 2018. She was born August 1, 1942, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to William "Bill" Nelson Davis and Ruth Ann Wilkins Davis. She married Rodney Morris Johnston. They had four children. They later divorced. She then married Michael Theodore Burr on August 29, 1985, in the Manti Temple. He preceded her in death on July 6, 2007.

She attended schools in Orem, Utah. She loved quilting, peacocks, camping, hunting, fishing, and going to Bingo. She also loved her children and grandchildren dearly. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served as a visiting teacher, which she enjoyed.

Barbara is survived by her three children: Rodetta (Don) McDonald of Provo, Sandy Johnston of Orem, and Perry Johnston of Salt Lake City; 21 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Michael, son Terry Gene Johnston, and a few great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2018, at 11 a.m. at the Sundberg-Olpin Mortuary located at 495 South State Street, Orem, Utah. Viewings for family and friends will be held at the mortuary on Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. just prior to the services at the mortuary. Burial will be in the Orem City Cemetery.
