Alejandro P. Breton was born December 5, 1928 in Huamantla, Tlaxcala, son of Alejandro Breton Turnbull and Trinidad Palafox. He married Teresa Aiza Arandia on April 20, 1952 in Huamantla, Tlaxcala. Both raised 7 children on a journey from Loma Rica, Marysville and Sacramento, California to Mexico City, Mexico. Alejandro was a very dedicated worker having to learn English at night school after long shifts. He started as a Foreman on a ranch, a meat packer, a shoe salesman at Macy's, a Payroll Manager for Martin Co. at Beale Airforce Base, up to International Sales Manager at General Motors, Mexico for 17 years. Being raised on the family hacienda called Tenexac, he dedicated his life to learning activities related to Charros (Mexican cowboys), horses, traditional tauromaquia (bull fighting), and playing ranchero songs on the acoustic guitar around a fire with friends and family. He was a very good singer who enjoyed classical "serenata songs". He enjoyed being among family and friends as jokes and laughter went on for hours and hours, often throughout the night. One of his main hobbies was to enjoy very well cooked food. After all his wife Teresa was an expert on a variety of international dishes from Arabian, Mexican, to creations of her own. They were made one for another: she cooked and Alejandro enjoyed her dishes. Alejandro was a kind gentleman as many of his neighbors recall. His big smile and positive attitude will be remembered by all who got a chance to run into "Jando". Te vamos a extrañar mucho abuelito y bisabuelo! Platica mucho con abuelita Tere de nosotros. Alejandro is survived by his seven children, twenty-four grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday October 1, 2014 at 10:00 AM at Sundberg-Olpin Funeral Home, 495 S. State St. in Orem, Utah. Interment will be in the Orem City Cemetery following funeral services.
