Albert Richard Long jr., 82, of Orem, passed away March 28, 2022. He was born on Sept. 3, 1939, in Durant, Oklahoma, to Richard and Juanita Long. He married Yvonne Amos in 1960, she preceded him in death in 1972. He then married Mildred Louise Davis.
Albert served in the Navy and the Army. He loved to travel and see new places. He traveled all over the world and always encouraged his family to do the same. He was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Albert is survived by his wife, Mildred, and children: Jeff Long of Minot, North Dakota; Jennifer (Robert) Prince of Panguitch, Ut; Desiree (Eric) Spotted Elk of Layton, Ut; and Courtney (Greg) Zalanka of McMinnville, OR; 22 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild, and one on the way. He was preceded in death by his sons Christopher (Brook) Long, Mark (Louise) Long, Daniel Long, and his daughter; Michele (Glenn) Van Ostrand.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, March 31, 2022, at 11:00 am at the Suncrest 5th Ward LDS Chapel located at 140 North 400 West Orem, Utah. A viewing will be Thursday morning from 9:30-10:30 am prior to the services.
